Jen Fielding-Murphy is a Clinical Psychologist in Oxenford with Master of Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Psychology (Class I Honours).

While Jen has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents and experience in government, non-government, hospital, and community settings. Jen is skilled at assessing and treating anxiety, depression, trauma and stressor related disorders, grief and loss, gender dysphoria, and neurodevelopmental disorders (such as ADHD, Autism, and Learning Differences).

Jen has an extensive background in child protection and child development. She is ready to help children and families who are experiencing behavioural, emotional, and relational difficulties. Jen is passionate about prevention and early intervention for vulnerable children and adolescents. She focuses her efforts on building healthy and resilient children and families.

Jen’s passion has seen her publish research in the area of childhood anxiety and comorbid primary headache disorders, as well as a recent book chapter in the area of the development of emotion in children through learning and cognitive pathways.

Jen also has the training and ability to conduct a range of comprehensive assessments including assessments of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (including ADOS-2), and Specific Learning Disorders.

Children and adolescents typically love Jen’s laid-back and approachable manner and she prides herself on her ability to build strong relationships with her clients, which she believes is the key to therapy success.
